It is 1993 and Elena is looking for a way to get Montrealers in a mood for cooking. Her daughter, Cristina, suggests to rent a space at the ‘Salon de L’Habitation’ to represent the Dante Hardware store (the family run store that sells kitchenware). So, together with her pasta machine, Elena starts to offer demonstrations on the beautiful art of making fresh pasta.

Tom and I thoroughly enjoyed the Valentines Dinner experience on Wednesday Feb 12th. The presentation and information was great! Elena was the perfect hostess and mentor! Not only did we learn a lot about cooking, Elena’s energy and humour was exceptional. And to top it all off, the food was amazing!

Every course with Mezza luna is just amazing - really enjoyed the evening, the format, the food and all the little secrets shared.
This is my third course with Mezza Luna and I will most definitely be taking many more!!!!!!
I have shared my learnings with my 82 year old mama (who is from Larino Campobasso) and she has shared with her friends - the courses have allowed me/her to connect/enjoy the lessons at another level.
