*Hazelnut cake
INGREDIENTS - ( portions)
  • 300g hazelnuts
  • 6 eggs
  • 200g sugar
  • 100g butter
  • 1pk prepared yeast (available at Dante store)
METHOD
  • -Divide the egg yolks from the egg whites and place in two separate bowls.
  • -With a hand mixer, beat the egg white until they form peaks. Reserve.
  • -In the second bowl, beat together the egg yolks and the sugar.
  • -Add the butter and the prepared yeast and mix together. Reserve
  • -Place the hazelnuts in a food processor and grind until they are finely chopped
  • -Incorporate the ground hazelnuts to the egg yolk mixture
  • -Fold the egg whites into the mixture. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and place in the oven at 350ºC for 30-40 minutes.
  • -Let cool before serving
