Hazelnut cake

Ingredients

300g hazelnuts
6 eggs
200g sugar
100g butter
1pk prepared yeast (available at Dante store)

Method

Divide the egg yolks from the egg whites and place in two separate bowls.
With a hand mixer, beat the egg white until they form peaks. Reserve.
In the second bowl, beat together the egg yolks and the sugar.
Add the butter and the prepared yeast and mix together. Reserve.
Place the hazelnuts in a food processor and grind until they are finely chopped.
Incorporate the ground hazelnuts to the egg yolk mixture
Fold the egg whites into the mixture. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and place in the oven at 350ºF for 30-40 minutes.
Let cool before serving.
