Junichi Ikematsu was born in Kyoto, Japan. At the age of 17, he started working in kitchens. In Montreal, becoming the Executive Chef of the Soto Group until it closed in 2005. He will take advantage of this opportunity to open Juni, one of the best Japanese restaurants in Canada in 2017.
